Charlie and I love to travel for so many reasons, but having a family has changed our priorities over the last several years. Charlie went back to school when Lydia was just a baby and we were living mostly off of one income. Things were tight and we had to make some sacrifices to get him through school. Now that he’s been working in his new career for about a year, we have a bigger budget and are able to do more of the things we haven’t been able to do in a while. With that in mind, we hope to be able to start traveling more here and there, as much as we can between two full-time jobs. Here is our travel bucket list (in no particular order):

  1. New Orleans
  2. Oregon
  3. Maine
  4. The Carolinas
  5. South Africa
  6. Bali
  7. Hawaii
  8. Train ride through New England in the fall
  9. All the U.S. national parks (or as many as we can get to)
  10. Japan
  11. Thailand
  12. Iceland
  13. Australia
  14. Disney World with the kids
  15. Israel
  16. Alaska
  17. The UK
  18. Great Britain
  19. Montreal, Canada
  20. Spain

I really want to see as much of the world as possible and I know Charlie feels the same way. With that being said – this isn’t a comprehensive list, but it includes some of the places we’ve talked about wanting to visit for quite a while. We’ll update the list as we think of new places high on our list and as we are able to travel more in the future.

I’d love to hear suggestions of awesome places you’ve visited or want to visit in the comments!

Happy travels,

We love to travel too – we’ve done Iceland, Thailand, New Orleans, Montreal, Alaska and Hawaii. All great places and would highly recommend going. We have Mongolia and Chile (to see the Southern Lights) on our bucket list!
